The parade begins at the intersection of Reyes Adobe Road and Lake Lindero Drive, and ends at the Reyes Adobe Historical Site & Park. The parade route is approximately 1 mile with ample sidewalk space along Reyes Adobe Road for viewing.
Rad Run 5K - Reyes Adobe Days
The race will take place on a ( previously certified ) flat and fast course, starting and ending at the Whizin's Market Square
Custom medals awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place age group winners. Age groups: 13 & Under, 14-19, 20-29 30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69,70 & over
Not only will participants have the opportunity to test their speed and endurance, but they will also be supporting a great cause. Emoji Suncatchers
Join us as we paint various emoji suncatchers and learn about the origins of the emoji and how they have changed the way we communicate with one another. For ages 5 – 12 with parent or caregiver.
Meet the Dinosaurs
Do you like dinosaurs? Come discover some fun facts about dinosaurs and then use your imagination and a variety of art supplies to decorate your own 2-D cardboard dinosaur. For ages 5 – 12 with parent or caregiver.
Fall Celebrations
Learn about cultures and faiths around the world through their fall celebrations. Explore food traditions during Rosh Hashanah, Diwali, and the Moon Festival, then use paper to create a plate of foods eaten on special occasions. For ages 8 - 12.
Bilingual Pajama Storytime
Join us at the Grant R. Brimhall Library for 30 minutes of bilingual (English/Spanish) storytelling fun followed by a small craft! This bilingual pajama storytime is for ages 3-5 years. Walk-ins welcome!

We make every attempt to begin on time. As it can be distracting to participants, please arrive on time for programs. Doors may be closed and admittance to programs may not be possible after the program is underway (or has started).
Changing tables are available and located in the public restrooms.
Snacks should be eaten outside of the storytime room.
Our number one rule is to have fun, so if your child is having a bad day (or a bad moment) please step outside the storytime area so that everyone can continue having fun. You may come back into the room when your child is ready.
Music & Movement
Dance, clap and sing along with Cheryl Lev and her guitar during this fun, interactive program. For Ages: 0-5 years.
Registration is required for each date. Space is limited. No walk-ins. Registration opens 4 weeks in advance.

Talavera Style Magnets
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month we will be making Talavera tile magnets! Talavera tiles are decorative tiles traditionally used in Mexico. For teens ages 13 – 17. Registration required.
Make & Take Sculpture
Create a sculpture using air dry clay. While supplies last. For Grade K-5th.
Talavera Wooden Keepsake Boxes
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, please join us in creating a Talavera-inspired piece of functional art. All materials will be provided. For children ages 5 - 12 .
Talavera is a Mexican and Spanish pottery tradition, and we will be honoring that tradition by decorating wooden keepsake boxes in that style.
Design Your Own Bookmark Contest

Baby Obstacle Course
Crawl up and down and all around! This obstacle course will introduce babies to a fun activity that incorporates the building blocks necessary to develop their social, motor, and sensory skills. For ages 0 - 36 months and caregivers.
Gosh Yarn It!
Relax, crochet, and socialize at the Thousand Oaks Library’s crochet club! Beginners and experts alike are welcome to bring your own supplies and hang out with fellow crocheters as they sip tea and work on their projects. Have a friend that you've been bugging to try crochet? Bring them along, they can borrow one of our hooks! Ages 11+.
Open Video Gaming
Come join us at the library for some video gaming! A Nintendo Switch and some of the latest games will be made available to play with other gamers, such as Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart! For ages 13 - 17.
Los Angeles Kids Book Festival
The free festival offers a rich array of activities suitable for children of all ages, including live book readings by celebrated authors, interactive storytelling sessions, musical performances, and various arts and crafts activities. This year, the festival will also introduce new authors and illustrators, providing fresh perspectives and stories that captivate and inspire.
