One of my son’s favorite places! Kidspace is a massive indoor/outdoor space filled with kid-driven experiences. There are more than 40 hands-on exhibits and a variety of creative play spaces and water features.

Parking is free. It is a bit of a walk to the entrance of the museum.

Free First Fridays - 4pm-7pm - reservations req’d. Tix released 2 weeks in advance.
There is an on-site cafe with lots of fun food options.
Bring extra clothes in case your little one wants to wade in the stream at the back of the museum.
There is a Blippi episode. We watched it prior to going the first time to get a sense of what it is.
There is a huge indoor climbing tower.
We’d been multiple times before we discovered the sandbox area to the right of the stream.

Cheesecake Factory is next door in the same complex. Try to grab a patio seat.

This award-winning children's and family destination invites visitors of all generations to play, climb, build, make-believe, and make friends—all while exploring an eight-thousand-square-foot wooden ark filled to the rafters with whimsical animals.
I was in awe of the structures, but also how fun the entire set-up is throughout. There is so much to explore here.

Mostly outdoor, but plenty of shaded areas throughout.
Their french fries are the BEST! Don’t sleep on the chicken tenders either. Portions are enough for a family to share.
There’s a new rhino named Marshall.
Towards the back of the zoo is a large shaded playground and bathrooms.
There are water stations with filtered water.
Members with 2+ adults on their membership can typically take any adult guest.

The aquarium is very small. It can be completed in around 15-20 minutes.
There is an opportunity to touch rays and small sharks.
Kids 12 and under free with an adult ticket.
Complete your day with a ride (or two) on the nearby carousel and a picnic on the beach.
